Parking Enforcement Officers

$47 966 + 10% loading + super

Full time and Temporary positions

The position… is part of a social, fun team who enjoy the benefits of working outdoors and meeting a broad range of people in the community.  Your role is to deliver high quality customer service and assist road users and rate payers to understand relevant Parking and Traffic Regulations. You will detect parking offences and issue parking infringement notices to ensure that parking turnover and public safety are maintained for the benefit of all. 

You will have…

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework relating to the relevant sections of the Local Government Act and other relevant Acts and Local Laws, or proven ability to develop the knowledge required within a short time
  • Actively seek to improve self and others’ skills and talents
  • Cooperate and work well with others on the pursuit of team goals
  • Make rational, realistic and sound decisions
  • Remain calm, objective and in control in stressful situations
  • Reliable and diligent
  • Understand and work to meet the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.

This role works around a 7- day roster, Monday to Sunday inclusive.
